Kathy and Jody met while working at a digital scrapbooking company in 2012. Little did they know they soon would go from being work friends to close mom friends. They each have two girls the exact same ages! 

When Kathy started SugarPiePaper in 2021, and needed help, she immediately thought of Jody and all of the impressive birthday parties she had thrown for her girls. Jody was thrilled to join Kathy and the two of them have been creating party ideas ever since!

Kathy is a Seattle-based freelance graphic designer with a passion for kids’ party invitations and holiday celebration ideas. When she isn’t designing you can find her caring for her girls and dogs, racing on her Peloton, or whipping up healthy recipes for her hubby and kids.

Jody is a girl-mom enthusiast! She is an accountant by day and a calligrapher, designer, and Cricut guru by night. Creating everyday occasions with her daughters and husband brings her joy, and she can’t wait to help you celebrate, too!
